A new iDrive release has been delivered for the Illinois Tollway. iDrive is a web based virtual drive application that allows searching for and viewing the Tollway's annual street-level and road surface photography along the corridor road system. It gives Tollway users the ability to choose the camera view and location on a corridor either via a year, corridor name, direction of travel, milepost, and lane number, or by clicking on the location on a map view. While the viewer steps along the road viewing subsequent street-level images, the associated map view and road surface images are updated, displaying surface conditions. The system is ideal for viewing high resolution imagery of roads, walls, bridges, striping, signage, etc.
